Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a confident individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to safety and security.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorised entry
Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or misconduct
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary
Enforce venue policies and procedures in a professional manner
Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure safety and orderliness
Conduct routine patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards

Skills

Proven experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or security roles is desirable
Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
First aid certification is advantageous, with the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
Organised, reliable, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts if required
