Location: Bognor Regis, PO22 0HW

Hours of work: 16.25

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 10:30 - 13:45

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £13.01

Do you enjoy leading a team and delivering excellent customer service?

As a Catering Supervisor with ISS UK, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality catering service, ensuring consistently excellent standards for our students, staff, and visitors. Your primary focus will be providing nutritious, great-tasting food while creating a positive dining experience for everyone.

You will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the school catering operation, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, safely, and within agreed budgets and performance targets.

The Role

Plan, organise, and coordinate daily catering operations to achieve financial and performance objectives.
Lead, motivate, and support your team, promoting a culture of excellent customer service and high standards.
Set a positive example through a hands-on approach and strong leadership.
Ensure food preparation, presentation, and service consistently meet quality standards.
Create and manage cleaning schedules, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Carry out general catering duties as required to support the smooth running of the service.
Monitor stock levels and support ordering processes to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
Build positive relationships with students, staff, and visitors, delivering an outstanding customer experience.

About You

Previous experience within a catering environment, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, professional, and hardworking with a positive attitude.
A team player who works collaboratively with colleagues and customers.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
Able to work independently and use initiative when required.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and food hygiene standards within a catering environment.
