West London Bakeries – Bourne End, Buckinghamshire

West London Bakeries is a growing bakery and canapé business based in Bourne End. We produce miniature cakes, dietary cakes and premium canapé boxes through our brands.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Office Administrator to join our small team and help support the smooth running of our office.

This is a varied, office-based role involving customer service, order administration and general support for the Managing Director and production team.

Key Responsibilities:

Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email in a warm and professional manner.
Processing customer orders and ensuring accurate records are kept.
Providing friendly and efficient customer service by phone and email.
Assisting the Managing Director with projects across sales, marketing, and general administration.
General office duties including answering the phone, filing, greeting visitors and supporting the team as needed.
Helping keep office systems, customer records and task lists organised.
Supporting the team as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Helping keep the office tidy, organised and presentable.

What We’re Looking For:

A friendly and professional manner, especially with customers.
Strong organisation and attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence using email, basic IT systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
A practical, flexible approach to working in a small, busy business.
Previous office administration, customer service, hospitality, bakery or food business experience would be helpful but is not essential.

Details:

Part-time role, ideally Monday to Friday.
Approximately 4–5 hours per day, with hours to be agreed.
Office-based at our Bourne End premises.
Competitive hourly rate.
Start date to be agreed.

This role would suit someone who enjoys customer contact, likes keeping things organised and would enjoy being part of a small, growing food business.
