Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our team. This role involves a variety of physical tasks including cleaning, painting, driving and general site upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in maintenance work, with the ability to operate various tools and machinery. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop practical skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Delivering and collecting materials from site
Performing general construction tasks such as lifting, and moving materials
Supporting team members in completing projects within specified timeframes
Ensuring work areas, canteen and toilets are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times

Qualifications

Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for equipment operation and troubleshooting
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery.
Knowledge of irrigation systems and general maintenance practices is desirable
Good organisational skills with attention to safety protocols
A valid driving licence is desirable; willingness to learn is important
Previous experience in this field will be considered an asset
Fork Truck Licence essential

This role offers a rewarding environment for those eager to build practical skills in engineering. Applicants should be prepared for physically demanding work while contributing positively to team efforts.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
