Overview

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS ROLE IT IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR THOSE OVER THE AGE OF 18

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House to join staff member to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a lively restaurant environment, ensuring guests enjoy memorable dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards
Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks
Provide attentive table service, attending to guests’ needs throughout their visit
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system
Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs where necessary
Engage with guests in a friendly manner, fostering a welcoming environment

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and guests
A personable attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and guest engagement

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
