Internal Business Development Executive

Ascari Office Ltd – Caerphilly
£50,000 OTE | Uncapped Commission | Office Based
Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:30pm | Friday 9:00am–3:00pm

Ascari Office Ltd is looking for an experienced and driven Internal Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team in Caerphilly.

This is a genuine sales role for someone who enjoys picking up the phone, starting conversations, building relationships and creating new business opportunities.

You'll be joining an established Welsh business providing a range of workplace solutions to organisations across South Wales and beyond.

With a £50,000 OTE, uncapped commission and a 3pm finish every Friday, this is an opportunity for an ambitious salesperson who wants to be rewarded for their performance.

The Role

As an Internal Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying and engaging with prospective business customers and developing opportunities for our field sales team.

Your day will include:

Making outbound B2B calls to prospective customers
Identifying and speaking with key decision-makers
Building relationships with potential customers
Understanding a business's current suppliers, contracts and requirements
Identifying opportunities across our range of business solutions
Booking high-quality appointments for our field sales team
Following up prospects and maintaining an active sales pipeline
Updating and managing activity through our CRM
Working towards individual call, appointment and sales targets
Working closely with the wider sales team to turn opportunities into new business

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is confident, competitive and comfortable working in a target-driven sales environment.

You'll need:

Minimum 1 year's experience in a sales or business development role
Previous outbound telephone sales experience
Confidence speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
The resilience to deal with rejection and keep going
A positive and competitive attitude
Good organisation and time-management skills
A genuine desire to achieve targets and earn commission

Previous experience in B2B sales, telecommunications, IT, managed print or office technology would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
