Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. To clean our 5 B&B rooms as well as the downstairs bar/restaurant areas and toilets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality service delivery. Prior experience in cleaning work is preferred.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces.
utilise commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to achieve optimal results.
Maintain cleanliness standards by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and emptying waste bins.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed to ensure continuous availability.
Adhere to client-specific cleaning protocols

Skills

Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties effectively throughout the shift.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
Reliable with a professional attitude and excellent time management skills.
