Our housekeeping team looks after our bedrooms, public areas including our restaurants and bars, our members areas, spa, and laundry and uniform facilities.

ABOUT THE NED:

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 248 hotel bedrooms.

REPORTING INTO THE HOUSEKEEPING MANAGEMENT TEAM AND AS A KEY PART OF THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE TEAM YOU WILL:

Look after the upkeep of our whole building, from receiving and distributing deliveries to taking care of all work areas and storages
Be a guardian of outstanding hospitality within your team, modelling behaviours, monitoring standards, and providing coaching and feedback where needed
Being in top condition is non-negotiable at The Ned, so your attention to detail in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in all guest and public areas is essential
Be an integral part of the housekeeping team, so you’ll be working across all areas as needed to support and assist

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE ROLE:

Previous experience of supervising or managing a team is beneficial, but experienced porters looking to take their next step are also welcome
You will have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Our guests expect the best, so attention to detail and staying organised are an absolute must
This can be a high-pressure role, so a calm demeanour and ability to defuse situations and turn them into a positive is extremely valuable
