Overview

Are you passionate about vehicle maintenance and eager to keep vehicles running smoothly and safely? We’re looking for a dynamic Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join our team! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and safety testing, ensuring our customers’ vehicles meet the highest standards. Duties

Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and servicing to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Perform MOT tests in accordance with legal requirements and industry standards, accurately identifying issues and advising customers accordingly.
Use a wide range of hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs, replacements, and adjustments efficiently.
Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as removing engines or large components safely and effectively.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including inspection reports, repair logs, and MOT documentation.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues, repair options, and service recommendations to foster trust and satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with solid mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems.
Previous experience performing MOT tests or willingness to undertake MOT certification upon employment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling engine components or other heavy parts.
Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
