Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to inspire and guide our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Your leadership will foster positive development, support staff, and promote best practices in childcare. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives while leading a dynamic team of early childhood professionals.

Duties

Lead and manage daily nursery activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children
Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children’s progress and well-being
Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies
Conduct regular risk assessments and maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones
Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration, professional growth, and high-quality care

Skills

Proven management and leadership experience within early childhood education or childcare settings
Extensive experience working with children in a nursery or preschool environment
Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
Ability to lead by example, motivate staff, and handle challenging situations with professionalism
Valid driving license is preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities
Exceptional organizational skills to manage daily operations efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £29,000.00-£30,400.00 per year
