Join a Business Transforming UK Manufacturing

Shotton Mill is undergoing an exciting transformation as we build the UK's largest recycled containerboard and tissue manufacturing campus. This significant investment is creating one of the most advanced and sustainable paper production facilities in the UK, and we're looking for talented individuals to help shape our future.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our growing logistics team in Deeside. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major manufacturing operation while developing your career within a fast-growing business.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and finished products throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate forklift trucks and other material-handling equipment.
Unload, move, store and load raw materials, finished paper products and packaging materials.
Manage inbound and outbound vehicle loading and unloading activities.
Support warehouse operations while maintaining inventory accuracy.
Ensure materials are moved efficiently to support production and customer delivery schedules.
Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality at all times.
Contribute to warehouse and logistics KPI performance through efficient working practices.
Report faults, damage and safety concerns promptly to support a positive safety culture.
Complete all required records, documentation and reports accurately.
Participate in continuous improvement activities, including 5S and ISO standards.

What We're Looking For - Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience operating forklift trucks within a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, stacking and transportation procedures.
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible approach and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Desirable

Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Continuous improvement awareness and understanding of operational efficiency principles.
