Full job description

About the Role
We are a commercial diagnostics business looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our operations by handling administrative tasks, customer communication, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

Entering Estimates and invoices into QuickBooks accurately and efficiently
Managing and responding to customer queries via email and phone
Monitoring and thoroughly checking emails to ensure nothing is missed
General filing and organisation of documents
Handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately
Providing support with other ad-hoc office duties as required

What We’re Looking For

Previous administrative experience is preferred, but not essential
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using email and computer systems (experience with QuickBooks an advantage)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage workload and work independently

Aptitudes and Skills

Good communication skills, both internally and externally
Ability to manage own workload and deadlines
Ability to use initiative to deal with problems and enquiries either face to face of through other communication methods
Strong IT skills
An ability to work in uncertainty and maintain a positive approach
To have a sense of humour, be personable - be able to accept that sometimes things turn out differently to what you originally expected

Pay: £13.00 per hour
