Full job description

We are looking for a motivated and organised Sales & Fleet Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling vehicle rental enquiries, processing bookings and vehicle sales, coordinating vehicle maintenance, and supporting general office administration. This is a varied role requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deal with vehicle sales on a face to face basis and over the telephone
Deal with vehicle rental enquiries in person, over the telephone, and via email
Set up new customer rentals and prepare all required paperwork and agreements
Update and maintain the rental management system accurately
Organise service and maintenance bookings for rental vehicles
Order vehicle parts, process payments, and maintain accurate records
Prepare sales vehicles to a high standard, including cleaning and valeting
Deliver and collect vehicles from suppliers and other locations as required
Process imported vehicle paperwork and liaise with UK import authorities
Arrange IVA appointments and manage related documentation
Handle customer enquiries regarding vehicle sales
Arrange and accompany customer test drives
Process vehicle sales documentation and complete sales transactions
Carry out general office administration duties and maintain organised records

Skills & Experience Required

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
Good computer literacy and administrative skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Clean UK driving licence
Minimum of 5 years driving experience

Desirable Qualities

Previous experience in vehicle rental, automotive sales, or office administration
Knowledge of vehicle licensing or import procedures
Flexible and proactive approach to work
Professional and reliable manner
