Full job description

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to help run the administrative side of our busy food ingredients production site. This is a critical role within our team and the successful candidate will need to be a dynamic individual that is able to take a pro-active approach to all situations that arise, along with having a ‘can do’ attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

To coordinate and manage an efficient operation between our production, warehouse and customer.
Organising and prioritising deliveries and ensuring all appropriate documentation is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Planning logistics along with organising and booking in transport.
Coordinating deliveries and liaising with our customers.
Answering the office telephone, taking and placing orders along with dealing with customer queries.
Maintaining accurate electronic filing systems and ensuring all paperwork is completed efficiently.
Supporting the Operations Director, as and when needed.
Assisting with the administration of some of our online customers.

Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years administrative experience within Logistics, Distribution or Supply Chain.
An ability to coordinate logistics in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise accordingly and where necessary.
Strong organisational and time management skills, along with excellent attention to detail.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.

Pay: £28,500.00-£40,000.00 per year
