Overview

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using office management software
Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing accurate information or directing calls appropriately
Verify patient information, update records, and handle check-in/check-out procedures with precision
Maintain organized filing systems for patient records, insurance documents, and correspondence
Assist with billing processes and insurance claim submissions as needed
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and fully stocked with necessary supplies

Requirements

Prior office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and professionalism
Administrative experience in a healthcare or similar setting is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external providers
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent programs
