E-commerce & Office Administration Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised, accurate and adaptable E-commerce & Office Administration Assistant to support the day-to-day running of a growing business.

This varied role covers eBay and online sales, office administration, customer service, and general business support. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable managing a range of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

E-commerce & eBay

Maintain and manage eBay listings.
Compile orders for postage
Check listings for accuracy, consistency and quality.
Respond to customer messages and enquiries on eBay.
Assist with eBay marketing and advertising.
Monitor and manage eBay promotions and stock.
Carry out regular listing audits and quality-control checks.
Assist with stocktaking and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Office & Business Administration

General office administration and organisation.
Ordering and managing office supplies.
Liaising with suppliers and service providers, including BT and other business services.
Supporting the wider business with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Providing general PA and business support to the company director.

Social Media & Marketing

Assist with social media management across platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
Assist with advertising and promotional activity.
Support marketing campaigns and business promotions.
Help develop the company’s online presence and customer engagement.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Accurate and methodical in their work.
Confident using computers and online systems.
Comfortable working with eBay and other online platforms.
Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
Confident dealing with customers and responding to enquiries professionally.
Interested in social media, marketing and online sales.
Flexible and willing to take on a varied range of responsibilities.

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage but full training will be provided:

eBay or other e-commerce platforms.
Online retail or stock management.
Office administration or PA work.
Social media and digital marketing.
Customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a varied role within a small friendly team, with the opportunity to become involved in many different areas of a growing business.

This role is based in a rural location with no public transport, so applicants must have access to their own vehicle.
