Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Coffee Barista to join our vibrant team up until end of August, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality coffee beverages. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, serving a diverse clientele while honing your skills in food and beverage preparation. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy engaging with customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to company standards.
Ensure all drinks are made accurately and efficiently, maintaining consistency in quality.
Greet customers warmly, taking orders with attentiveness and professionalism.
Handle cash transactions accurately, providing correct change and processing card payments.
Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, including cleaning equipment and organising supplies.
Follow food safety protocols at all times, ensuring hygiene standards are upheld.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Assist with food preparation tasks when required, supporting overall café operations.
Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.

Skills

Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role is desirable.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within food service environments.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours.
Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Organised with good organisational skills to keep the workspace tidy and supplies well-stocked.

Pay: £12.50 per hour
