Team Leader – Commercial Garden Maintenance

Location: Meanwood, Leeds (Yard Meeting Point)

Join a Growing Commercial Grounds Maintenance Company

Montapex Ltd is looking for an experienced, motivated, and reliable Team Leader to join our expanding commercial garden maintenance division.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for managing a small team, maintaining high standards across commercial sites, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a small team carrying out commercial grounds maintenance.
Read and interpret site plans and specifications.
Organise daily workloads and ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
Carry out all aspects of commercial garden maintenance including:
Grass cutting
Hedge cutting
Strimming and edging
Weed control
Shrub and border maintenance
Seasonal works
Complete quality checks and maintain the high standards Montapex Ltd is known for.
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
Maintain company vehicles, machinery and equipment to a professional standard.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years' commercial garden maintenance experience.
Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
Ability to read and work from site plans.
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Good communication and organisational skills.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Do not have previous commercial gardening or grounds maintenance experience.
Do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Are looking for general labouring work rather than a skilled gardening position.

Approximately 95% of our work is commercial grounds maintenance, so applicants must have relevant industry experience.

£30,000 per year (negotiable depending on experience)
