Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Part Time Medical Receptionist to join our busy GP surgery in Kensington. This vital role involves providing exceptional front-desk support, managing patient appointments, and ensuring smooth daily operations within the practice. Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment.
Manage appointment scheduling accurately using practice management software, accommodating patient needs and doctor availability.
Answer incoming calls promptly, providing information or directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with data protection regulations.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating patient records to ensure accuracy.
Support the clinical team by preparing consultation rooms and managing correspondence as needed.

Experience

Previous office experience or administrative experience is highly desirable, especially within a healthcare setting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Proficiency in using office software and practice management systems.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and initiative.
