Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient FOH/Barista to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about coffee and hospitality, eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those who thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy engaging with customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees and teas, ensuring consistency and quality.
Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and operate the till system.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, cups, lids, and other essentials.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or baked goods when required.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.
Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including food safety procedures.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar front-of-house role within the hospitality industry is desirable.
Knowledge of food safety standards is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Experience in serving customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour is preferred.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.

Pay: £14.00 per hour
