Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a General Factory Operative and become a vital part of our production process! In this energetic role, you will be actively involved in assembling, inspecting, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that quality standards are met with precision and efficiency. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the creation of high-quality goods. Responsibilities

Operate hand tools and power tools safely to assemble components according to specifications
Conduct routine inspections of products during various stages of production to ensure quality standards are maintained
Assist in the setup and adjustment of machinery and equipment for different production runs
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Support warehouse activities such as loading, unloading, and storing materials efficiently
Follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures to ensure smooth workflow
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and improve processes

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with tools and equipment is preferred
Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, or assembly work is advantageous
Previous factory experience using power presses, press brakes and turrets would be advantageous.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
