Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring smooth operation of the front-of-house area. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous, and a passion for food and service is essential. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic setting while providing memorable experiences for our guests.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently
Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages with professionalism
Assist in food preparation and presentation when required
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
Handle customer enquiries promptly and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction
Support baristas with beverage preparation during busy periods
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Manage cash register operations and process payments accurately
Uphold high standards of hospitality at all times to enhance guest experience

Skills

Proven experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles, within a restaurant environment is preferred, but not essential
Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
Basic food preparation skills are desirable
Barista experience is a plus but not essential
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities

Please be aware, that due to the location of our pub, all applicants MUST have a reliable form of transportation. There is NOT regular public transportation to the location, a car or reliable lifts are essential.

This role is to help support our existing friendly and vibrant team!

Saturday & Sunday Lunch Shifts, as well as the occasional, flexible weekday support.

Hours: 8 - 15 / week

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
