Overview

Join the team at Ritual Coffee&Co as a part-time Front of House (FOH) Team Member and become an important part of creating a warm, welcoming experience for our customers. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced café professional who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering great service. In this role, you will help create a positive café environment by providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and drinks, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and supporting the smooth running of the café. This is a part-time position of 25 hours per week, offering the opportunity to work in a friendly and team-oriented environment.

Duties

Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure they are prepared and served efficiently
Prepare and serve coffee, drinks and food to Ritual Coffee&Co standards
Operate the EPOS system accurately and handle customer payments
Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the front-of-house and customer areas
Ensure tables, counters and displays are kept clean, tidy and inviting throughout the day
Assist with food preparation and other café duties when required
Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures at all times
Provide knowledgeable and helpful information about menu items and ingredients
Support the team during busy periods to ensure a smooth and efficient service
Help create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to return

Skills

Previous café or coffee shop experience is required
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Good knowledge of café operations, food service and beverage preparation
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday is essential
Reliable, punctual and able to take responsibility for your duties
Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen awareness
Confident handling customer orders, payments and EPOS systems
Positive attitude with the ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
Passion for good coffee, quality food and creating a great customer experience
