Registered Manager – Redditch (B97)

Salary: £46,500 – £50,500 p/a + bonus up to £3,000 per year
Hours: Average 37.5 hours per week
Additional: Sleep-ins and overtime paid in addition | On-call rota

This is an opportunity to lead an established LD home, shaping the culture, supporting your team, and ensuring every child receives the highest standard of care.

Your Role – Leading with Purpose and Impact:

Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home
Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated team to deliver outstanding, child-centred care
Create a safe, stable, and therapeutic environment where children can grow and flourish
Ensure safeguarding is at the forefront of everything you do
Maintain high standards in line with Children’s Homes Regulations, Ofsted, and local authority expectations
Oversee care planning, audits, and continuous improvement of the service
Manage budgets, rotas, recruitment, and contribute to the on-call system
Build strong, effective relationships with families, professionals, and external partners

What You Need:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Proven experience in a managerial role within a children’s residential setting
Track record of achieving Ofsted ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’
Experience supporting children with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
