Looking for an opportunity to shine as a Receptionist in a bustling mixed NHS/Private dental practice in Tadworth/Epsom? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team, whether you're looking for part-time or full-time work.

As our newest team member, you'll play a crucial role in our practice, utilising our user-friendly dental software for appointment bookings, administrative tasks like scanning and filing, and ensuring smooth operations day-to-day. No worries if you're not experienced – we provide full training!

Communication skills are key as you'll be managing appointments, patient interactions, and supporting our dental team. While dental or healthcare experience is a plus, it's not essential as we value a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

Greeting patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
Managing appointment scheduling and rescheduling efficiently
Handling patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy
Answering phone calls, responding to enquiries, and directing calls appropriately
Maintaining accurate patient records and updating information as needed
Processing payments and insurance claims in accordance with practice procedures
Organising patient files, correspondence, and other administrative tasks
Assisting with general office duties to ensure the practice runs smoothly
Supporting the dental team with administrative tasks as required

Experience

Proven office experience, preferably within a healthcare or dental setting
Demonstrated administrative skills, including data entry and record management
Excellent organisational abilities with attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining professionalism
Familiarity with dental software or practice management systems is advantageous
