Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Manager to lead our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in driving the success and reputation of our venue, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of cafe/restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and customer experience.
Supervise and manage staff across various departments such as kitchen, front-of-house, and bar services.
Develop and implement operational policies to ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
Coordinate food production processes, ensuring high-quality culinary standards are maintained consistently.
Lead team management initiatives, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and staff development programmes.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that promotes hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Organise special events or promotions to increase patronage and revenue streams.
Stay updated with industry trends to innovate menu offerings and improve operational efficiency.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within the hospitality or restaurant sector.
Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.
Experience in food production management, including kitchen operations and culinary processes.
Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is desirable.
Knowledge of serving procedures, hospitality standards, and barista experience is advantageous.
Prior leadership roles in food service establishments or similar settings are essential to succeed in this position. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a vibrant team within a thriving hospitality environment while delivering outstanding guest experiences through expert management and culinary excellence.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable, as occasional travel between locations may be required.
