Overview
The primary focus of the role will be to provide support to the team and other colleagues in providing purchasing and administrative tasks within the AMRC.
You will be working within a busy office and must be able to manage your own workload and carry out a number of roles within the team. You will be preparing requisitions, orders and sales invoices using the University’s SAP system in accordance with the University’s financial directives. You will be dealing with day-to-day enquiries via email and in person from customers of the AMRC and the general public.

Main duties and responsibilities
As an Administrator, you will be part of a team that focus on:
Prepare requisitions, orders, sales invoices etc. using the University’s SAP system in accordance with the University’s financial regulations.
Deal with day-to-day enquiries, via email, telephone and in person from customers and the public.
Escalate enquiries to senior colleagues where appropriate.
Act as liaison between AMRC research group admin support and Central University professional service teams, resolving queries in a timely manner.
Assist with credit card, expenses and accounting reconciliations; eliminating and amending discrepancies.
Ensure computerised records and files are managed accurately.
Use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases.
Ensuring that personal and team targets are achieved.
Provide occasional receptionist support when required.
Support and foster an inclusive One AMRC culture which promotes excellence through diversity.
Build and maintain positive relationships across the University, encouraging the development of effective collaborative partnership working.
