Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Live-In Bar Person to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service in a welcoming environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The position offers the unique opportunity to reside on-site, fostering a close-knit working environment and enabling flexible service hours. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Responsibilities

Serve drinks and food to guests in a courteous and professional manner, maintaining high standards of customer service.
Prepare and organise bar supplies, ensuring all beverages are stocked and presented attractively.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations, including cleaning bar areas and equipment regularly.
Monitor guest behaviour to ensure safety and adherence to house policies.
Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
Assist with organising events or special functions held at the venue.
Handle guest enquiries promptly, providing information about menu offerings and services.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for the role.
A professional attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Personal qualities such as reliability, discretion, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
