Job Description:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team.

This is much more than simply answering customer queries. You’ll build genuine relationships with your own portfolio of customers, becoming their dedicated point of contact and helping to deliver the high standard of service they expect from Visual Comfort Europe.

You’ll take ownership of the customer journey, from preparing quotes and processing orders through to delivery. You’ll work closely with teams across the business to solve problems, keep orders moving and identify opportunities to turn enquiries and quotations into successful sales.

We’re looking for someone who is positive, proactive and highly organised, with a natural ability to build rapport. You’ll enjoy taking ownership, solving problems and working as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Acting as the dedicated point of contact for your own portfolio of customers, building strong and lasting relationships.

· Preparing and processing customer quotes and orders received by email.

· Taking ownership of customer enquiries and ensuring they are handled promptly, professionally and accurately.

· Overseeing orders from placement through to completion and beyond, proactively resolving any issues along the way.

· Following up outstanding quotations and helping to convert opportunities into orders in line with company targets.

· Working closely with colleagues across the business to keep orders progressing and delivering the best possible customer experience.

· Keeping customer and order information accurate and up to date within our internal systems.

· Suggesting suitable alternatives when a customer’s first-choice product isn’t available.

· Proactively exploring ways to improve lead times and secure orders.

· Supporting customers with product enquiries and collaborating with our Product Support team when specialist advice is required.

· Helping customers access and get the most from our website and online services.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

· A minimum of 3 years’ office-based customer service experience.

· Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines.

· Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.

· Exceptional attention to detail.

· A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Desirable:

· Experience within the luxury goods, interiors or design industry.

· A basic understanding of lighting or an interest in developing your product knowledge.

· Previous experience using ERP systems.

Working Details:

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm with a daily 1-hour unpaid break.

IMPORTANT: Dependent on your start date, you may be required to complete training at our site at Lyon's Farm, Worthing, BN14 9LA. This is due to us relocating to Shoreham-by-Sea in September/October. Please note that any additional travel to Worthing will not be subsidised.
