Sales Administrator – Vuba Surfaces Wiltshire

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and confident Sales Administrator to join Vuba Surfaces Wiltshire, an exciting new business established in partnership with Vuba.

Operating from a new distribution centre in Wiltshire, Vuba Surfaces Wiltshire will bring Vuba’s market-leading resin surfacing products and expertise closer to customers across the region.

This is a particularly exciting opportunity because you’ll be joining right at the beginning. As one of the first members of the Vuba Surfaces Wiltshire team, you’ll have the chance to help shape how the business operates, take on more responsibility as we grow and build a career alongside the business.

You’ll work at the heart of the sales operation, supporting the sales team, looking after customers and making sure enquiries, quotes, orders and day-to-day administration are handled accurately and efficiently.

You’ll often be one of the first people our customers speak to, so we’re looking for someone who is friendly, switched on and genuinely enjoys helping people. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling different priorities, keeping on top of the detail and working in an environment that will become increasingly busy as the business grows.

What you’ll be doing

Responding to incoming sales and customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
Supporting the sales team with the day-to-day management of customer enquiries and accounts.
Preparing and sending quotations and following up with customers where required.
Processing orders accurately and ensuring customers are kept informed.
Acting as a first point of contact for general customer enquiries.
Maintaining accurate customer, sales and order information within our systems.
Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams to help keep orders and projects moving.
Supporting the sales process from initial enquiry through to order.
Keeping sales records, figures and key information accurate and up to date.
Helping identify ways we can improve our processes and deliver an even better customer experience.
Providing general administrative support to the wider Wiltshire team when required.

About you

We’re more interested in finding the right person than somebody who ticks every box.

You’ll ideally be:

Organised, reliable and comfortable managing several tasks at once.
Confident speaking with customers both over the phone and in writing.
Friendly and professional, with a strong customer-service mindset.
Detail-focused and accurate, particularly when dealing with quotations, orders and customer information.
Proactive and happy to take ownership rather than waiting to be told what needs doing.
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment.
Confident using computers and learning new systems.
A team player who is happy to get stuck in and help where needed.
Keen to develop and grow with a new business.

Previous experience in sales administration, customer service or a similar office-based role would be useful, but industry or manufacturing experience isn’t essential.
