Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Removals Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting customers’ belongings and furniture to new locations, ensuring a smooth and efficient moving experience. Your expertise in driving, heavy lifting, and excellent communication skills will be essential in providing outstanding service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills directly contribute to helping clients transition seamlessly to their new homes or offices.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles, including <PERSON> drivers, to transport goods and furniture between locations.
Load and unload items with care, employing heavy lifting techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Communicate clearly with clients regarding delivery times, procedures, and any potential delays or issues.
Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, organizing supplies, and preparing items for transportation.
Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are maintained.
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and mileage logs for compliance purposes.

Experience

Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices.
Prior experience as a <PERSON> driver or similar role involving transportation of goods or furniture.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and heavy lifting techniques is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Ability to perform physical tasks requiring heavy lifting and manual handling safely.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications in commercial driving are advantageous.
