Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Hod Carrier/Labourer to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will assist skilled tradespeople by transporting, positioning, and supporting materials and tools on-site. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will contribute to the smooth progress of construction projects.

Duties

Safely carry and transport building materials, tools, and equipment across the construction site
Support bricklayers by providing necessary materials promptly
Operate hand tools such as shovels to aid in construction tasks
Help with site cleanup, debris removal, and maintaining a safe work environment
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements

Experience or familiarity with bricklaying,
Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude on the job site
Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Valid safety training
