Full job description

Overview

JJoin our dynamic team as a Logistics Administrator and play a key role in supporting our growing logistics operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our supply chain, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers through to our customers. Working closely with customers, suppliers, warehouse teams, transport providers and internal departments, you will help coordinate orders, stock and deliveries while ensuring our processes run efficiently.

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with a genuine interest in logistics and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As this is a newly created role within a rapidly growing area of the business, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience across logistics, supply chain coordination, inventory management and process improvement.

Duties

· Accurately input customer orders, prices and quantities onto the company ERP system.
Process customer orders and ensure all relevant paperwork is emailed to customers and filed correctly, including order acknowledgements and invoices.
Allocate stock to customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Complete daily sales and logistics administration, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
Assist the Accounts Department with sales ledger duties and general administrative tasks.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are processed and fulfilled efficiently.
Respond to customer queries and provide updates regarding orders, stock and deliveries where required.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing customer and order information.

Requirements

Previous sales order processing experience – essential.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with customers and colleagues.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines within a busy working environment.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy when processing orders and maintaining records.
Highly organised, with a methodical and structured approach to work.
Strong numerical skills with the ability to work confidently with prices, quantities and figures.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
A proactive and positive approach, with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues and find effective solutions.
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support other areas of the business when required.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 09:00 – 17:30
Friday: 09:00 – 17:00
Occasional overtime may be required to support the needs of the business.

Pay: £12.71-£13.59 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
