Full job description

Accent Services (AC) is looking for an organised and proactive Administrative Support Coordinator to support our Technical Support team during a period of continued growth.

This is a new role being introduced on a trial basis to provide administrative support with the non-technical elements of the quotation and supplier process. By taking ownership of routine communications, follow-ups and record keeping, you will allow our Technical Support Managers to focus their time on technical queries, complex quotations and other higher-value activities.

The Role

Working closely with the Technical Support Managers and wider operational teams, your responsibilities will include:

Contacting suppliers to request pricing, availability and product information
Chasing suppliers for outstanding quotations and updates
Managing routine email and telephone communications relating to quotes
Updating internal systems, trackers and records
Monitoring outstanding actions and following up with the relevant individuals
Supporting the preparation and administration of customer quotations
Ensuring information is accurately recorded and passed to the appropriate manager
Responding to general customer and supplier queries where no technical knowledge is required
Providing wider administrative support to the team during busy periods

About You

You do not need to have a technical background, as full training will be provided. However, you will need to be confident communicating with suppliers, customers and colleagues and be comfortable managing several tasks at the same time.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, purchasing or coordination role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A confident and professional telephone manner
Good written communication skills
The ability to prioritise work and follow tasks through to completion
Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
A proactive approach and willingness to chase outstanding information
The ability to work independently while supporting a busy team
