Full-Time Café Assistant / Party Host

Hours: 4- 5 days per week (32-40 hours - weekends must)

The Little Bees is under new management from November Last year and have grown already that we are looking to recruit more people.

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, energetic Café Assistant to join our busy, fast-paced, and friendly team.

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to have full time career with social hours ( no late nights) and fun environment but is flexible and willing to work most weekends.

We believe in putting the right people in the right place at the right time. Depending on your strengths, you may rotate between:

Hosting children’s birthday parties (mainly weekends)
Assisting in the café and serving customers
Supporting the kitchen with food preparation

No two days will be the same, so flexibility, energy, and a positive attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting and engaging with customers - making their day is your #1 mission
Delivering amazing birthday parties
Becoming a confident Barista (full training provided)
Using the till, restocking, pot washing, general café duties
Communicating with customers in person, by phone, and email
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the centre

Experience in hospitality, customer service, or kitchens is desirable but not essential
A friendly, positive, “can-do” mindset
A reliable team player with strong attention to detail
Someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
Pride in delivering memorable experiences for families

Your attitude will matter more than your experience - we’ll teach the rest.
