About the Role

You'll join a Purchase Ledger team of three, forming part of a wider Finance team of ten. This is a varied and important role that helps ensure our suppliers are paid accurately and on time, supporting the smooth running of a growing business.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting the details right first time. You'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships across the business while helping maintain efficient financial processes.

This is a full-time predominantly office-based position, although we are happy to consider applications from experienced candidates seeking 30+ hours per week. If this applies to you, please let us know in your application.

What You'll Be Doing

Processing, matching and coding supplier invoices accurately
Carrying out thorough checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Maintaining supplier records, including setting up new suppliers and updating existing details
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Verifying supplier bank details and processing amendments promptly
Preparing and processing payments in line with agreed terms and company procedures
Processing employee expenses and company credit card statements
Responding to supplier and internal finance queries via phone and email
Supporting the Finance team and wider business as required

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, dependable and enjoys working as part of a team. You'll ideally have:

Previous Purchase Ledger experience, including processing high volumes of invoices
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Strong IT skills, including confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues
A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to support the wider team when needed
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be advantageous, but is not essential.
