FULL TIME AND PART TIME

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and time management are essential. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Handle customer orders efficiently while delivering exceptional service with a friendly attitude.
Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including light snack or pastry service.
Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
Keep the work area clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
Ensure adherence to health and safety policies at all times.
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote products or specials.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer-facing role is desirable.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
Experience in serving customers efficiently with excellent communication skills.
Basic food preparation skills for handling snacks or light meals if required.
Good basic maths skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Friendly, approachable manner with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills can flourish while providing memorable experiences for our customers.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
