Our 50,000 sq. ft.facility in Stratford-upon-Avon is home to an exceptional team who work in an exceptional culture and share a deep appreciation for these iconic cars.

Expanding our team in order to keep up with an ever increasing demand, we are looking for an ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR who can offer outstanding service and provide accurate and efficient support to the business. This role is perfect for someone who is a team player with experience in a busy accounts team.

SUMMARY:

Temp to Perm – Accounts Administrator

We're looking for someone who wants to become an integral part of our business. Initially this is a temporary role with a genuine opportunity to become permanent for the right person. We're looking for somebody who enjoys variety, is happy to get involved wherever needed and wants to grow with the business. No two days are the same, so a flexible, can-do attitude is every bit as important as previous finance experience.

Typical responsibilities

Purchase Ledger processing and supplier statement reconciliations.
Sales Ledger administration and customer account maintenance.
Daily cash posting and bank reconciliations.
Supporting month-end activities.
Assisting with credit control when required.
General finance administration.
Providing support across the finance department and wider business as required.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role.
Good understanding of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger processes.
Experience posting and allocating cash receipts and payments.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
Confident using Excel (sorting, filtering, lookups, pivot tables desirable).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment.
Excellent communication skills and able to build relationships across the business.
A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently whilst also being a strong team player.
High levels of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

Desirable Requirements

Experience using Sage 50, Brightpearl or similar accounting software.
AAT qualified or studying towards AAT.
Experience with reconciliations (bank, supplier and customer accounts).
Exposure to month-end processes.
Experience within a stock-based or retail business.
Understanding of VAT.
Experience improving processes or suggesting efficiencies.
