Full job description

KATA Projects Ltd is a growing construction company based in Lincoln. We are looking for an organised, reliable and enthusiastic Junior Office Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis.

This is an entry-level position offering training and the opportunity to gain practical experience in construction administration, invoice checking and general office support.

Previous construction experience is not required. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn.

Main Responsibilities

The role will include:

Reviewing supplier and subcontractor invoices for accuracy
Matching invoices against quotations, delivery notes and supporting documents
Entering and maintaining accurate information on company spreadsheets
Highlighting missing information, discrepancies or incorrect charges
Organising and filing electronic documents
Uploading and maintaining documents within SharePoint
Assisting with general emails and office administration
Updating project and company records
Supporting the accounts and management team as required
Following established administrative processes and checklists

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is organised, dependable and punctual
Has excellent attention to detail
Is comfortable working with numbers and checking information
Has good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Communicates clearly and professionally
Is willing to ask questions and learn
Can follow a process accurately
Takes pride in completing work properly
Can manage routine tasks without losing concentration or accuracy

GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths would be beneficial.

Previous office experience is welcome but is not essential, as training will be provided.

A permanent, part-time position
20 hours per week, Monday to Friday
A starting rate of £13.25 per hour
A salary and performance review after six months
