Company Overview

Wards was established in 1988 as Castle Commercial and has been based in Hinckley, Leicestershire since inception. We are a full-service property consultancy providing a wide range of services including Residential Sales & Lettings, Commercial Sales & Lettings, Property Management, Block & Estate Management, RICS ‘Red Book’ Valuations, Homebuyers Surveys (RICS Level 1 & Level 2), Lease Advisory (Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals), Schedules of Dilapidations and Condition and Land Registry Plans.

We are Chartered Surveyors and accordingly the way in which we collect rent and service charges (client money) is closely regulated and monitored by our professional body – the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Job Summary

We manage around 300 residential tenancies and are looking for an accounts administrator for our Residential Lettings team. The role will be based at our office at 20 Station Road, Hinckley, LE10 1AW.

The working hours are 22.5 hours per week but the hours can be split over our regular opening hours, however, ideally not over multiple consecutive days.

Responsibilities

Collection and processing of residential rents
Balancing residential lettings accounts
Assisting with everyday residential lettings enquiries

Requirements

Previous accounts experience.
A proven track record in organisational and self-management skills.
Experience working in a customer facing role delivering under pressure.
A friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude.
Ability to handle difficult situations and remain calm under pressure.
Excellent IT skills.
Strong numeracy skills.
Excellent administration skills.

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
