Warehouse Operative

Byworth Boilers is a leading manufacturer of industrial boilers committed to delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced customer centred environment. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a diligent and proactive Warehouse Operative who will be able to support productivity and move stock in line with the business needs.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to fill the role of Warehouse Operative at Byworth Boilers Ltd. If you are enthusiastic, committed, and thrive in a collaborative team environment, we want to hear from you.

Role Responsibilities:

To prepare loads in the warehouse by use of scanners to be transported to build locations.
To demonstrate good attention to detail when picking products ensuring the correct products are picked, packed and delivery notes are checked and completed in full.
To enter picked pallets and parcels onto carrier networks.
To ensure all vehicles are loaded in a safe, correct, and acceptable manner ensuring all deliveries arrive in a manner which meets our customers’ expectations.
To assist with resolving warehouse/production issues as and when required.
To ensure all Health and safety procedures are followed.
To receive pallets and parcels into the business and book into stock using handheld scanners and locating in main warehouse in a timely and accurate manner.

Person Attributes:

Previous Warehouse experience is essential.
Previous experience with use of handheld scanners preferred, although training will be given to the right applicant.
Counterbalance FLT Licence preferable but not essential.
Exceptional attention to detail.
A strong team player with a “can do” attitude and a proactive approach to work.
The ability to demonstrate effective time management with a flexible approach to working hours.
A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.
Good Maths and English grades.

Salary: Hourly - Paid Weekly – Up to £13.00.

Hours: Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 07.45 - 16.30 and Friday 07.45 - 13.30.

22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays (accumulating +1 day for every 3 years of service).

Company pension with 4% employer contributions.
