Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Wedding Coordinator to join our team at a beautiful venue dedicated to creating unforgettable wedding experiences. As a Wedding Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind the seamless execution of weddings, ensuring every detail aligns with the couple’s vision and exceeds expectations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality expertise, exceptional communication skills, and passion for creating memorable events. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and staff to orchestrate flawless celebrations that leave lasting impressions.

Duties

Collaborate with couples from initial booking through to the wedding day, providing expert guidance and support throughout the planning process
Coordinate all logistical details, including venue setup, catering arrangements, décor, entertainment, and timing schedules
Upsell additional services or enhancements to enhance the guest experience and maximise revenue opportunities
Oversee event timelines on the wedding day to ensure smooth transitions and adherence to schedule
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any issues with professionalism and positivity
Utilise strong organisational skills to maintain detailed records of bookings, payments, and event specifications

Qualifications

Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel settings is highly desirable; experience in wedding or event planning is a plus
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated ability in time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience in upselling services or products to enhance client satisfaction and revenue growth
Knowledge of fundraising or charitable event coordination is advantageous but not essential
A passion for delivering outstanding guest services within a hospitality or event setting
