Full job description

We are seeking motivated law graduates who are looking to begin their legal careers.

The Role

As a Paralegal within our Personal Injury team, you will receive comprehensive training to develop the skills and knowledge required to manage a varied caseload.

Working alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive environment, you will be trained to handle claims from inception through to conclusion, taking full responsibility for your own caseload as your experience grows.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and highly supportive team, where you will gain exposure to a broad range of personal injury matters while developing your legal knowledge and practical experience.

You will play an important role in progressing cases efficiently, maintaining high standards of client care, and supporting clients throughout the lifecycle of each claim.

Key responsibilities include:

Day-to-day management of your caseload
Communicating with clients via telephone, email, and written correspondence
Requesting, reviewing, and managing medical records
Preparing instructions to experts and counsel
Drafting legal documents, including letters of claim, witness statements, schedules of loss, and court documents
Maintaining accurate records via the case management system and diary management
Ensuring compliance with GDPR and firm policies

We’re looking for someone who can:

Manage a varied workload with strong attention to detail
Work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
Work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Maintain excellent levels of organisation and time management

Essential

You will need:

A Law degree
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Good IT skills and ability to use case management systems (Training provided)
A proactive and professional approach to work

Pay: £24,785.00-£27,000.00 per year
