Overview

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Operative and become an essential part of our fast-paced logistics operation! In this role, you'll be actively involved in handling materials, managing stock, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through various warehouse processes. Your energy and attention to detail will help us maintain high standards of quality and efficiency, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service. Duties

Safely handle materials during loading, unloading, and storage, utilizing mechanical knowledge and equipment such as forklifts when certified.
Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately and efficiently.
Pick and pack orders with precision to meet shipping deadlines, ensuring products are prepared correctly for dispatch.
Stock shelves and storage areas systematically, maintaining organized and accessible inventory.
Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to uphold product standards.
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting for damages or discrepancies.
Load and unload trucks safely, using appropriate manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; we value motivated individuals eager to learn.
Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous; certification is a plus but not mandatory.
Basic understanding of warehouse management systems or inventory software enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
Mechanical knowledge or experience with tools can be beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail for accurate picking, packing, and quality control procedures.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward maintaining safety standards across all warehouse activities.
