Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various operational tasks within our café. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop barista skills while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks in accordance with company standards
Assist customers with menu selections and provide friendly, attentive service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating arrangements
Handle cash register operations accurately and efficiently, including basic maths for transactions
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Restock supplies as needed and assist with general cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards
Support team members with additional tasks as required to ensure smooth daily operations

Skills

Proven Barista experience or strong interest in developing coffee-making skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy
Ability to assist with food preparation tasks efficiently and safely
Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
Friendly demeanour with strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Organised approach to work with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
