Overview

At Elegant Finishes, everything we do is about quality and delivery including Customer Service. We take significant pride in everything we do.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, will focus on the overall quality and will support the ethos of our business. Everything we do is about the customer.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers and scaffolding to achieve smooth, professional results.
Collaborate with Manager and Clients to understand design specifications and ensure work meets expectations.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Manage time effectively to complete projects within scheduled deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Communicate clearly with team members regarding project progress or any issues encountered during decorating tasks.

Requirements

10 + years Painting and Decorating experience.
Proven experience in painting and decorating across a wide range of customer base is highly desirable.
Valid driving license with reliable transportation is preferred for site visits and material transport.
Strong communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate effectively with team members.
Ability to work at heights using scaffolding or ladders safely and confidently.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting equipment and hazardous materials.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different project requirements.
