Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver, operating across all licence classes including 3.5-tonne, 7.5-tonne, Class 2, and Class 1 vehicles. This energetic role is perfect for motivated drivers who thrive on delivering excellent service and ensuring timely deliveries. You will be the face of our company on the road, responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while maintaining outstanding communication with customers and team members. Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles across various licence classes to transport goods to customer locations and distribution centers
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of items in compliance with safety standards
Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly
Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery documentation for accountability
Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and heavy lifting when required
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times

Requirements

Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated (including all licence classes from 3.5t to Class 1)
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles
Familiarity with warehouse procedures and ability to perform heavy lifting safely
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or route planning tools
Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving or standing
A clean driving record with no major infractions or violations
