Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Builder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of building projects, from extensions to renovations, working alongside a team. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality structures, ensuring safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilize a variety of tools and techniques, and bring building visions to life with precision and energy.

Duties

Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications
Perform fabrication and joinery tasks to create custom components for various structures
Execute roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance with attention to safety and quality standards
Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on-site
Conduct construction painting, masonry work as needed
Follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction processes
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols throughout each project

Skills

Proficiency in fabrication, assembly, and use of hand tools and power tools
Strong carpentry and joinery skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics
Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites and working at heights
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues during construction projects
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and supervisors
