Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaner to join our vibrant pub and kitchen environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a spotless, welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience for our guests and staff. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure that all areas of the pub and kitchen meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks across all areas of the pub and kitchen, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and dining spaces
Ensure all dining and bar areas are kept tidy, organized, and hygienic throughout operating hours
Handle waste disposal efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations
Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and storage areas to maintain food safety standards
Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues promptly
Follow established cleaning schedules and safety protocols to ensure consistent standards are met
Support team members during busy periods by maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic zones

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably within hospitality settings
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
