Full job description

Overview
We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a leisure facility in and around the pool areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a tidy and organised space. Previous experience is preferred , but training will be provided.

This is a position that will be worked in the evenings, because of this you will need to be 18+ years old, hours are 2 days a week Saturday 6.30pm till 9.30pm and Sunday 7.30pm till 10.30pm with occasional week days to cover sickness and holidays. Hours will be 6 hours a week.

DUE TO LOCATION AND TIMES OF SHIFTS YOU WILL NEED TO DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise designated areas, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
Ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Dispose of waste materials responsibly and replenish supplies as needed
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
Maintain a organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Cleaning areas such as changing rooms, hosing down pool side, steam rooms and saunas.

Requirements

Basic communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude towards clients and colleagues
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

This position is suitable for individuals who are proactive, dependable, and eager to contribute to the overall well-being of this facility. We welcome applicants who are enthusiastic about providing excellent service in a professional setting.
